Docs mention graph.html but graphify 0.4.19 does not generate it or document how #418

Description

Summary

The README/docs say Graphify exports:

  • graph.html (interactive graph)
  • graph.json
  • GRAPH_REPORT.md
But with graphifyy==0.4.19, the CLI help does not expose any command to generate, export, serve, or open graph.html. In practice, graphify update . only produces:
  • graphify-out/graph.json
  • graphify-out/GRAPH_REPORT.md
    No graph.html is created.

Environment

  • macOS Apple Silicon
  • Python 3.11
  • graphifyy 0.4.19

What I did

Installed Graphify successfully:

python -m pip install graphifyy
graphify --help

Built the graph:

cd /Users/ahmedmoghazy/bot/Production
graphify update .
ls -lah graphify-out

Actual result

graphify-out contains:

  • GRAPH_REPORT.md
  • graph.json
  • cache/
  • graph.gexf (manual conversion I created separately)

No graph.html.

Also, graphify --help shows commands like:

  • update
  • query
  • path
  • explain
  • watch
  • install/uninstall commands for assistants

…but nothing like:

  • view
  • serve
  • export-html
  • open
  • build-html

Expected result

One of these should be true:

  1. graphify update . should generate graphify-out/graph.html, as documented, or
  2. the CLI should document the exact command needed to generate/open the interactive HTML graph, or
  3. the README/docs should be updated if graph.html is no longer produced by current versions.

Why this matters

Right now the JSON/report workflow works, but the documented “interactive graph” path is unclear. I had to manually convert graph.json into external formats for Gephi/Cytoscape because there was no visible Graphify-native visual viewer flow.

Related doc mismatch

The repo/docs describe graph.html as an output artifact, but the current CLI surface does not make that path discoverable from graphify --help.

Request

Could you clarify:

  • Is graph.html still supported in 0.4.19?
  • If yes, what exact command generates it?
  • If no, could the README/docs be updated to reflect current behavior?

Happy to test a fix or a hidden/undocumented command if there is one.

Thanks. I noticed this was closed as completed, but I do not yet see a linked PR, issue comment, or a now-discoverable CLI command for the graph.html flow in graphifyy==0.4.19.

Could you point me to one of the following so I can verify on my side?

the exact command that generates or opens graphify-out/graph.html, or
the commit/PR/docs change that updates the current behavior/documentation, or
confirmation that graph.html is no longer part of the supported output flow in current versions.
I am happy to retest immediately once I know which path is intended.
