   Setup: a NethVoice instance with at least one inbound route. Visualplan is at https://<nethvoice host>/freepbx/visualplan/?did=<route> (FreePBX admin > Visualplan). Prepare: an announcement with a valid recording, an announcement with no recording, an IVR and a customer query (CQR) with and without an announcement, a time condition, a day/night control, a ring group, a queue and a conference reachable from the same route. For the "deleted" cases, delete the recording (or the destination object) from FreePBX after the route has been saved. Quick way to corrupt a day/night control: DELETE FROM daynight WHERE ext='<n>' AND dmode='night' on the asterisk database (restore it afterwards from the day/night page). Visualplan errors are logged as Visualplan: failed to load ... in the freepbx container log.

   Test Case 1 - Recordings

   • Route with an announcement without a recording: the announcement block is red with "Error: recording missing or unavailable", the rest of the route is visible with its connections
   • Announcement whose recording was deleted: same red block; announcement with a valid recording: normal block with the recording name
   • IVR and CQR with no announcement: normal block showing "No recording"; with a deleted recording: red block; downstream blocks and other branches still visible
   • Messages are correct in English and Italian (browser language)

   Test Case 2 - Block failures and stale destinations

   • Delete an object referenced by the route (e.g. the queue or the ring group): the route still opens, the missing destination is a red "Error loading block" with the known exits, the healthy branches are intact
   • Same check from the palette (drag a block type, pick an element) and when expanding the children of a selected element
   • Day/night control with a missing night row: red block, the readable day flow and its connection are still drawn
   • Time condition whose time group was deleted: red block, the true/false destinations still connected
   • No exception messages or database details are shown in the page or returned by visualize.php

   Test Case 3 - Save protection

   • Select a red block: "modify" is disabled, "delete" is available
   • Save with a red block in the canvas: the toolbar shows "Fix or remove the red error blocks before saving" and nothing is saved
   • A direct POST to create.php with a block having userData.visualplanError = true returns HTTP 422 and changes no PBX settings
   • Remove or fix the red block, save again: the route is saved and reloads correctly

   Test Case 4 - Duplicate checks

   • Create a new block (e.g. ring group) with an existing number: rejected with the "already inserted" message
   • Create it with an unused number: accepted
   • If the list lookup fails (e.g. a ring group row that cannot be loaded), creation stops with "Block data is missing or could not be loaded" and the loading indicator disappears; after fixing the data, the same creation works

   Test Case 5 - Source refresh after palette selection

   • Pick an element from the palette, change its destination from FreePBX, then expand its children in Visualplan: the new destination is used, the old one is not drawn
   • Repeat with the source made unreadable (deleted object or incomplete day/night): the source becomes a red block, the readable connections stay, saving is blocked

   Test Case 6 - Healthy routes and regression

   • Open, expand, save and reload a route with all block types (inbound route, extension, voicemail, conference, hangup, announcement, day/night, time condition, IVR, CQR, queue, ring group), several branches and a cycle: connections and "Details" links are correct, saving changes nothing unexpected
   • A route with a malformed destination (e.g. ivr- without id) shows that block as red and the other branches load
   • Routes that were already fine before the update render exactly as before (no new red blocks)
