[macOS Apple Silicon] Replace ARM64-incompatible native runtime in The Impossible Library #174

Description

Status: Under review

The fixed builds have been uploaded to CurseForge and are currently pending review.

Summary

Compression does not ship a macOS ARM64-compatible native runtime for the JVM driver used by The Impossible Library. On Apple Silicon, the bundled Burningwave/ToolFactory path expects the macOS x86_64 native library "libNativeExecutor-x64.dylib".

This is separate from LavaPlayer itself: the LavaPlayer macOS connector already contains ARM64 support. The compatibility gap is in the JVM native driver used by The Impossible Library.

Environment

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge 47.4.10
  • Java 17, aarch64
  • macOS Apple Silicon
  • Compression

Evidence

The current instance loads the mod with the ARM64 JVM, but the original native-driver path is x86_64-only. The resulting native compatibility problem can prevent startup or cause native failures while Music Triggers initializes audio.

Suggested replacement

Please replace the current The Impossible Library build with the ARM64 build:

For the related audio fixes, also replace Music Triggers with:

The old Music Triggers 7.0.4/7.0.5 files should not remain in the "mods" directory alongside the replacement.

Additional note

These builds reuse the existing Burningwave, ToolFactory and LavaPlayer code paths; the change adds the missing ARM64 runtime/build support rather than replacing them with an unrelated audio library.
