Trusted publishing for Visual Studio Marketplace and Open VSX #1772
Just looked into configuring this, but neither platform has enabled Trusted Publishing in production yet (Open VSX production is still on v1.1.2 awaiting deployment of v1.2.0, and the VS Marketplace backend/UI for OIDC has not rolled out yet). We'll stick with the existing PAT setup for now and revisit once they go live.

@randy3k @renkun-ken After the release of version 3.0.0, could you please configure Trusted Publishing in vscode-R and vscode-R-syntax?

Let me take a look, but NOT 100% familiar what it means
Update: just notice that I forgot to add "NOT".

It seems fairly easy to set it up. Way better than the current token appraoch. Thanks for the headsup.
