If you are running Security Onion in a Proxmox VM, we recommend setting your CPU to host to make sure that your x86_64-v3 CPU is passed through to the VM:

If your CPUs do not support x86_64-v3 at all, then we recommend holding off on this upgrade until Elastic has resolved this issue.
