Compatibility with securitykey of OpenAI #128

Description

@benjugat

Area

FIDO2 / U2F / passkeys

The problem

I've tried using the Waveshare RP2350 One as a security key for OpenIA, but it doesn't recognize it as a hardware key.

Does anyone know what needs to be changed, or if it's even possible to make it work?

Proposed shape

Fully working with OpenAI advanced security

    Try running as privileged user or root in unix
    Some fido2 operations use hidraw.
    There is a way to set up a "fido" group for unix, maybe there is some for windows.

    What I mean is, it's possible to add it as a passkey method, but to use OpenIA's DayBreak, it requires a hardware key, and this one isn't recognized as such.

    Ok, maybe try compiling and flashing the yubikey compatibility version.
