Request to integrate Copilot CLI into iOS terminal apps cannot be implemented.

Blockers

  • No Node.js runtime on iOS: CLI requires Node.js v22+, unavailable on iOS
  • Platform not supported: Only Linux, macOS, and Windows are supported
  • No source code in this repo: This is a documentation-only repository; the npm package @github/copilot is distributed separately

Alternatives for iOS users

  • Use GitHub Mobile app with Copilot features
  • SSH to a supported platform from iOS terminal app
  • VS Code web/remote development
Original prompt

Can you build this into my local terminal app on iOS
