Create more vertical space by using first line #1107
As you mentioned a few times the tui is constrained especially in terms of vertical space.
I imagine you have intentionally made the look and feel of this app different to other project charm/opencode.
There's currently a lot of space wasted with blank lines especially at the top of the screen.
We currently have "layout":"stretch" and "layout":"auto".
I have vision impairment so I run the terminal with larger font. This is also on an ultrawide monitor
Would you be open to make this change so we can use more of the screen?

Bless you @chinwobble . I am legally blind as well and have same issue as you. I didn't see this issue so I opened #2750 -- which the maintainer may see as a duplicate -- but it has a different description than yours so may give them more insight on the problem.

we probably need to be responsive vertically too and make it more compact if there's not enough vertical lines

Not even mentioning the fact that the H1 title in the top bar is most of the times unrelated to the real topic of your thread
The path at the bottom shows the first folders in the path, it should show only the last one
I ❤️ opencode btw
