Pasting something big causes UI issues #1526

Description

@unluckyjori

Pasting big text like the one below causes UI issues. I used a previous response from the AI, but it does not matter what you paste as long as it's a big text.

Okay, let's see. The user asked for exactly what was run to read the agents file.
Earlier, the user mentioned using the AGENTS.md file. The first tool call was to read "AGENTS.md". The response showed the content of AGENTS.md, which includes
guidelines for agents.

The user then asked to scan the next file from unscannedfiles.md, which listed "AISearchRoutine.cs". But when trying to read that file, it wasn't found. So
maybe the path is incorrect. The user then mentioned using only part of the path, not the full one.

But the initial read for AGENTS.md was successful with the full path. The user now wants to know exactly what command was run for that. So the answer should
restate the exact command used: read the file at "AGENTS.md". That's the precise action taken.

    Ahh I see, I would recommend using a proper terminal emulator when using TUIs but I can try to look into it a bit more for ya

    On Windows, when using Git Bash, I notice that each line of code pasted from the clipboard is sent to the model as a separate call.

    $ opencode.exe -v
    0.4.2

    Please consider pasting lines of code using a format like [Pasted +10 lines] as done by Claude Code and Codex CLI.

    Also having paste issues. New lines trigger new messages. Consider adding a paste mode that disables this behaviour until ESC pressed, like /paste

    My observations

    Environment Ctrl+V Support Right-Click Paste Support
    Windows Git Bash (standalone) ✅ Works ❌ Not working
    Windows Git Bash inside Windows Terminal ❌ Not working ❌ Not working

    Not working means it will send each line as a separate command.

    If anyone is using Windows Terminal . Go to the JSON version of your windows terminal settings and delete/comment out this line

    // {
    //     "id": "User.paste",
    //     "keys": "ctrl+v"
    // },

    This will remove the ability to paste on normal terminal though, but will work on open code
