Model switch automatically when changing the mode #1661
Description
When switch the mode from PLAN to BUILD or BUILD to PLAN just after launching the opencode, selected model changes to something else.
it's not a big issue until unless you have type something first and switch the mode. you can change the model easily with /models but if you have type something already and then /model is not working anymore and cannot switch the models

just fyi the model selection is tied to agent so when you switch agents it will switch to last used model for that agent (if the agent doesn’t have specified one)

this is fixed in the opentui version that will ship soon, but until then u can set:
OPENCODE_AGENTS_SWITCH_SINGLE_MODEL=true
