Discrepancies on context sizes using Opencode/Copilot CLI #17582
I'm using Opencode to connect to my github copilot subscription provided by my company. But it seems the context size seen by Opencode for a specific model is not the same than the one provided by copilot. For example , if i'm using Sonnet 4.6 on Copilot CLI, i can see a context size of 200K. With Opencode , we cannot see directly the full contexte size (it could be interesting to have it displayed directly) . but from the percent displayed the context size is 12K tokens . It seems to be the same for a lot of models.

Copilot CLI has higher context window than GitHub Copilot extension #16861: Same issue — OpenCode shows lower context window sizes for GitHub Copilot models (e.g. claude-sonnet-4.6 shows 128K in OpenCode vs 200K from the Copilot CLI), which appears to be caused by OpenCode using static model metadata instead of live Copilot model metadata.
