Windows Terminal + WSL: Ctrl+V can miss image paste without bracketed-paste signal #19501

Closed

Description

@dhruvkej9

Description

When OpenCode runs in WSL through Windows Terminal, Ctrl+V can be handled by the terminal before OpenCode receives the expected clipboard-related signal path. In this setup, paste behavior can look inconsistent: plain text may paste, while image paste may fail depending on terminal keybinding configuration.

OpenCode version

1.3.3

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run OpenCode in WSL2 Ubuntu 24.04 from Windows Terminal.\n2. Keep default Windows Terminal Ctrl+V paste behavior.\n3. Copy plain text and then paste into OpenCode (works).\n4. Copy an image to clipboard and paste into OpenCode with Ctrl+V (can fail).\n5. Compare with Ctrl+Shift+V or custom keybinding behavior.
