Invalid input for tool bash: Type validation failed #2132
Description
Whenever I ask opencode to check the changes in a branch (and expect it to do a git diff main...HEAD), I get a couple of invalid tool use errors:

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:
The error messages are nearly identical - both involve the bash tool failing type validation because the timeout parameter is required but undefined.
Feel free to ignore if #1693 doesn't address your specific case.

This is a model/prompting issue, I see you are using gpt-4.1, are there other models you use that have this issue frequently too?
we can try to address just wanted to emulate best your issue

I haven't used other models much as I was happy with the results I got from gpt-4.1 due to its large context window. Any tips for avoiding that in my prompt?

I think we can probably do something on our end here but the tip I'd give is just include in AGENTS.md:
when using bash tool be sure to set the timeout parameter to a number
