When running interactive shell command via tool, the command output is stuck in t he opencode text input field

linux/ghostty/tmux/opencode_v0.6.3:

Scenario:

opencode uses shell command tool to run something interactive (in my case sudo command but I'm sure I can find other examples)
opencode text input field now shows the interactive output - "Place your right index finger on the fingerprint reader"
I confirm my fingerprint
tool execution completes
text still remains in input field
it's only gone once I "type over it"
