"Subscription quota exceeded" error persists after 2+ days of inactivity (OpenCode Go) #24473

Description

I am reporting a persistent quota issue with my OpenCode Go subscription. Despite having zero usage since April 23, my account is still flagged as "Subscription quota exceeded" as of April 26.

There is a significant discrepancy between my actual usage history and the dashboard status, preventing me from using the service for over 3 days.
I tried to contact the service maintainers through Customer Services or Email, but was unable to find such contact points.

Data Evidence (from Dashboard)

  • Usage History: The cost graph shows no activity on April 24, 25, and 26.
  • Weekly Usage: Currently stuck at 100%, showing "Resets in 1 day 14 hours".
  • Rolling Usage: Shows 0%, but oddly states "Resets in 5 hours 0 minutes" despite no recent activity.
  • Error Message: Terminal continues to display: Subscription quota exceeded. You can continue using free models.

Expected Behavior

Since there has been no usage for 3 days, the rolling or weekly quota should have partially or fully reset by now, allowing for new requests.

Actual Behavior

The subscription quota remains exhausted (100%), and the system does not recognize the 3-day period of inactivity, effectively locking the account.

To note

I am currently using the oh-my-openagent plugin.

Screenshots

  1. Usage Dashboard: Showing 100% weekly usage and stuck reset timers.
  2. Cost Graph: Showing zero usage from April 24 to April 26.
  3. Terminal Error: Showing the "quota exceeded" message.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Use the allocated quota for the OpenCode Go plan (last activity on April 23).
  2. Wait for more than 72 hours.
  3. Check the usage dashboard and attempt to use Go models (e.g., kimi-k2.5, glm-5).
  4. The quota remains at 100% (Weekly) and access is denied.

    @Mirrowel

You are out of weekly quota. It resets once a week.
Waiting 3 days does not change this until it resets.

I've mistaken usage with remaining quota.

    @GABOSAVAN

    Hi OpenCode support team,
I'm experiencing a bug with my OpenCode GO subscription where my weekly quota is shown as 100% consumed despite having zero usage.
    Plan: OpenCode GO
Issue: Dashboard shows "Subscription quota exceeded" with no usage history
    OpenCode CLI version: 1.17.13
Could you please review and reset my quota? I'm happy to provide screenshots or additional logs if needed.
    Thanks,

Additional reproducible evidence (2026-08-22) for the Go/free-model quota behavior:

The current Go documentation says free models should remain usable after the Go usage limit is reached: https://opencode.ai/docs/go/

With an active OpenCode Go credential whose weekly quota was exhausted:

    1. GET https://opencode.ai/zen/go/v1/models returned ox-alpha-free.
    2. POST https://opencode.ai/zen/go/v1/chat/completions with model ox-alpha-free, a one-message prompt, max_tokens: 16, and stream: false returned HTTP 429 GoUsageLimitError: Weekly usage limit reached.
    3. The documentation lists x-preview-f-free as the Go model ID, but the same endpoint returned HTTP 401 Model x-preview-f-free is not supported for that ID.
    4. The same prompt worked through the keyless Zen endpoint https://opencode.ai/zen/v1/chat/completions using x-preview-f-free.

This looks like a live mismatch between the Go catalog, the documented model ID, and the promised free-model exemption. No API key, workspace ID, or private logs are included here. Hermes was only the client exposing the failure; the direct endpoint tests reproduce it independently.
