Session history disappears and archived sessions are difficult to restore #26505

Question
Problem
I am facing issues with session history management in OpenCode.
Issue 1: Session history not visible
After working in OpenCode and closing the terminal/app, my previous session history was no longer visible in the sidebar or session list.
Commands like:
opencode session listreturned no sessions.
Also:
opencode --continueshowed:
Continue opencode -s undefined
even though the local database file still exists:
~/.local/share/opencode/opencode.db
This makes it difficult to recover previous work sessions.
Issue 2: Archived sessions disappear from sidebar
I later realized that one of my sessions was archived accidentally.
After archiving:
- the session disappeared completely from the sidebar
- there was no obvious “Archived Sessions” section
- session recovery/discovery was confusing
It would be helpful if:
- archived sessions were easier to access
- there was a visible archive section/filter
- users received a clearer indication that the session was archived and not deleted
Expected behavior
- Sessions should remain visible and recoverable after reopening OpenCode
opencode --continueshould properly restore the last session- Archived sessions should be easy to find and restore
- Session management UX should be clearer
Environment
- OS: Windows
- Terminal: Git Bash (MINGW64)
- OpenCode installed via terminal installer
- Local database exists at:
~/.local/share/opencode/opencode.db
