navigate child sessions shortcut: ctrl + left and ctrl + right on mac conflict with OS shortcuts of switching between spaces/desktops #2816
I ended up entering a child session via ctrl + right, but somehow found it impossible to come out of it with ctrl + left as my mac kept going to the left space/desktop. I had to in the end go find the OS Setting to disable that keyboard shortcut to leave the child session.
This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:
Cannot navigate to child sessions #2555: Cannot navigate to child sessions - Reports that ctrl+left and ctrl+right don't work in iTerm/Terminal on Mac, same navigation issue
The root cause appears to be that macOS users need cmd+ keybinds instead of ctrl+ to avoid conflicts with system shortcuts like space/desktop switching.
Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
