web: agent selector button missing from prompt toolbar in v1.15.6 #28769

Closed as not planned

Description

@wanyaoluo

Description

In the v1.15.6 web UI, the agent selector button is missing from the prompt toolbar. The model selector is still visible, but the agent dropdown that used to sit next to it is gone.

This removes the normal UI path for changing agents; users have to switch agents via commands instead.

Expected: the prompt toolbar shows an agent selector next to the model selector.

Actual: the model selector is visible, but the agent selector is not.

Related: #28686, but this report is narrower and specific to the v1.15.6 web UI.

    @Cothek

    Still happening on v1.18.1 web SPA. I have custom primary agents defined in my config and no way to select them in the web UI.

    It can be configured within the general settings:

    However, in the mobile view this leads to the issue that the reasoning level selection field hides the send button.
