TUI sidebar – modified file paths truncated at the end, hiding the filename #30514

Description

What happens

In the right sidebar under "Modified Files", long file paths are cut off at the end, which hides the actual filename:

MyProject/src/main/java/at/my_projec

Only the leading directory path is visible. The important part – the filename – is cut off.

What should happen

The file paths should be truncated at the beginning so the filename stays visible:

.../my_project/beans/MyBean.java

Having the full filename visible makes it immediately clear which files were changed.
