   This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

   • Automatically add characters #2826: Automatically adds characters when scrolling with lots of context - very similar to the random character input during scrolling described here
   • Shitty characters in the input #2834: Characters appearing in input box (though this was more about display artifacts than actual character input)
   • TUI editor hides some double-byte characters in the input field #2920: TUI editor character display issues (though focused on double-byte character visibility)

   The closest match appears to be #2826 which specifically mentions characters being automatically added to the input box when scrolling with lots of context.

   Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

   This is going to be fixed super soon, team is working on migration to opentui and this is fixed in that branch.
