Description

In some providers (e.g Kimi 2.6) the reasoning part gets stuck in an infinitely loop of adding the same new token repeatedly. This adds unnecessary cost and is a weird behavior. I added a circuit breaker so its caught when it happens.

Happens both in CLI and desktop app as the underlying server is the same

Steps to reproduce

  1. Type a prompt
  2. The inference from the model sometimes gets stuck in reasoning loop
  3. Keep on receiving same token in the reasoning part
