i'm getting insufficient balance... error on deepseek-v4-flash-free... (opencode zen) #35159

I Was using deepseek-v4-flash-free through OpenCode Zen and it was working fine, then within minutes started throwing "Insufficient Balance" on every request, even though I'm on the free tier and hadn't touched a paid model...

opencode 1.17.12
Steps to reproduce
- Configure OpenCode to use provider "opencode" (Zen) with model deepseek-v4-flash-free
- Send any chat request
- Request fails immediately with "Insufficient Balance" error, despite being on the free tier and not having used any paid models

I am having the same issues. In the past 15 minutes I have had a multitude of "Insufficient balance" and "Streaming response failed" errors in TUI, using Big Pickle, DeepSeek, MiMo, but Nemotron 3 Ultra, just streaming errors. Eish...
The strangest thing, I'm sure quota reset by now...
Nemotron 3 Ultra THINKING works!
But then it fails with this...

Issue might be resolved - give it a try. Deepseek V4 Flash Free & Big Pickle are working for me again.
