Description

when running yay -S opencode, the installation does not finish due to the following error:

error: Could not resolve: "@parcel/watcher-linux-x64-glibc". Maybe you need to "bun install"?

0.15.20

Steps to reproduce

running yay -S opencode on a system using yay will cause the above error.

    Operating System

    Windows 11

    Installation method

    opencode-electron-win-x64.exe (Electron desktop app)

    Terminal

    Windows PowerShell / CMD

    Steps to reproduce

    1. Install via opencode-electron-win-x64.exe
    2. Launch the application
    3. Observe errors in logs immediately on startup

    Expected behavior

    App starts without errors; file watcher loads correctly; Windows paths handled as file:// URLs.

    Actual behavior

    • @parcel/watcher-win32-x64 native module is missing from the asar bundle
    • Windows drive letter (C:) not converted to file://C:/ for ESM loader
    • Git snapshot repack fails with permission denied on Windows
