Description

@adamdotdevin

Any plans to support CMD + Delete and Option + Delete for erasing text? (MacOS keyboard is this case, just small detail that I like to use on Claude Code)

    cmd+delete still doesn't clear all the text in web client terminal. Can we fix this within this issue as well?\ or do we need to open a new one?

    The TUI already supports word deletion and line clearing shortcuts out of the box:

    1. Default bindings, the full content is here Opencode TUI keybinds
    • input_clear — ctrl+c, clear all input, single line or multiple lines
    • input_delete_to_line_start — ctrl+u, delete from cursor back to start of the line
    1. You could also customize keybinds in ~/.config/opencode/tui.json, 'super' means 'CMD' key
    {
      "keybinds": {
        "input_clear": "ctrl+c, super+delete"
      }
    }

    1. With tui.json configured, but CMD+Delete/Option+Delete still does not work in Opencode TUI, you could configure your terminal:

    e.g. in iTerm2: Settings → Profiles → Keys → Add CMD+Delete → Send Escape Hex Codes 0x15 . (this will make CMD+Delete same as CTRL+U, which is to delete to line start)
