The terminal is unresponsive and not rendering correctly. It remains stuck on the same prompt for a long time. #9269
The terminal appears to be stuck executing a small query for over 5 minutes, similar to legacy terminal hangs where repeatedly pressing Enter was needed to return it to an idle state.
same with me, no matters using withing vscode, cursor, antigravity or directly on terminal/shell. i'm using it with openrouter.
it simply stops responding, only ESC twice to interrupt and prompt again to follow through.
using:
termius (windows version)
opencode 1.2.6
connected to openrouter
installed via npm
on ubuntu desktop 24.04.4 LTS (noble numbat) on KVM (proxmox) QEMU
[EDITED]
no matter the model. It's happening with opus 4.5, opus 4.6 and kimi 2.5.
[EDITED 02]
Adding more info.
tested with wezterm on windows and ubuntu - same bug
tested with a vscode plugin in a vscode window - same bug
tested with antigravity plugin in a antigravity window - same bug
changed models - same bug
tested on windows on other codebase - same bug
I'm using starlink and Unifi ecosystem. vlan based networking.
It does no freezes when waiting for interactive input, or in interactive shell sessions like if running nano, vim, etc. It starts do respond and freezes in the middle of the phrase. Like:
"The user asked for a plan to refactor the code. I will prepare a plan t" and freezes
or
"Here's the plan: 1. Migrating codebase - the codabase nee" and freezes
The biggest problem: when you have to interrupt using double-esc and tell it to continue, such operation consumes tokens. Opencode is a great initative, but this bug in particular is costing money and time.

same happens to me, using WSL with Ubuntu and happens with every model for every connector, every 30 minutes or so
