Array functions should treat an array as an element #6985

Is your feature request related to a problem or challenge?

I think it would be nice to use array as element in all array functions (not only scalar values).
The main reason is to make it easier for the user to work with multidimensional arrays.
For example, if we want to append first dimension array in second dimension array or find a position in nested array.

Here are the full list of current array functions, which should be upgradeable:

• array_append
• array_prepend
• array_position
• array_positions
• array_concat (column support)
