Any chance of hosting a demo of newspaper in action so we can try it out before going through the setup steps?

It'd be nice to have a "try before you buy" before committing to the setup.

Sure, can you make a few suggestions of how we'd host a demo?
e.g.

• Video of me using newspaper on the command line
• Live usable API on a webapp (what AlchemyAPI has pretty much)

I was thinking along the lines of a live server with just a textfield and button so people could run a few websites through and validate the content output is what they were expecting. Example here: http://fuckyeahmarkdown.com

I've looked at every extraction tool from boilerpipe, readability, goose, diffbot, and evernote's clearly and each has their strengths and weaknesses, so I'm just trying to make the decision on the output rather than the underlying tech.

FWIW, newspaper has the same issue as readability (it only parses the bottom half of the story) for Medium articles: https://medium.com/everything-about-startups-and-entrepreneurship/how-quitting-my-corporate-job-for-my-startup-dream-f-cked-my-life-up-3b6b3e29b318 but it at least properly parsed LifeHacker articles which readability tanked on.

Diffbot and Clearly seem to be the only one's capable of parsing the whole thing for all scenarios, but Diffbot is extremely slow at doing so.

@phirschybar You're a bit off topic for this issue. The README doc tells you exactly how to run it from the command line. In fact, that's the only example it gives.

@codelucas I created a demo with a repo here and demo app here where you just paste an article URL ... Let me know your Heroku username and I'll add you as a contributor so you can push any changes.

P.S. I've only been using Python for a couple of days, so it's probably not the cleanest demo.
