   3. Close the test-coverage gap. Only object_server.py has tests. locator_api.py and async_replicate.py have none — so the new
      head_bucket, list_buckets, and the add_object 1-GiB-default path are all untested. The locator is mostly HTTP orchestration; requests
      calls would need mocking (e.g. responses or respx).
