I am the maintainer of stdx which is an extension of the standard library. I would be happy to combine the two. Maybe under a new org/repo to separate it from Deno considering the announcement?

Thanks to the Deno team for all the work that has gone into std!
I hope this is an opportunity to invite the community to take on greater stewardship, moving towards community-driven governance.
A fork is of course an alternative, but I'd much rather see std continue to thrive as one project, independently of the Deno runtime.
