From the Phase 12 plan (.opencode/plans/phase-12-platform-flexibility.md, workstream C):
A Rust SDK for wasm32-unknown-unknown and one of TypeScript (AssemblyScript) or Zig, each with screen, json, grid, and cap helpers equal to the Roc libraries, and an example world. Evaluate the Wasm component model and WIT as the long-term interface, and record the decision. Depends on F12.7.
Exit: each SDK passes the F12.7 conformance suite and ships a playable example.
Coordination (2026-10-26 reprioritization, per Drew): every id roadmap item now has its own GitHub issue, and priority encodes the order: (1) the path to Phase 12 — now + priority/high; (2) Phase 12 itself — next; (3) Phase 13 and long-term ideas — priority/low. The dashboard mirrors this list (org Project "Developing Today" #4, Area id-train; Grist Program roadmap, Area id). If this item turns out to be blocked, wrong, or superseded, park or close it with a note rather than letting it stall the queue — dropping an issue is always allowed; silently stalling is not.

state: triaged (coverage pass)
Coverage pass 2026-11-03: reviewed in the fleet-wide per-issue pass (drift / overlap / already-handled / stale / blockers / ordering). Verdict: still live; queued in repo-health-code-pilot as triage at priority 40 (priority/normal). If this is already handled at current main, the triage closes it with evidence; if it needs splitting, the triage files the split.

No second/third guest SDK exists yet: pkgs/id has no Rust wasm32-unknown-unknown guest SDK, no Zig or AssemblyScript guest SDK, and zero .wit files / WIT directories. The reference Roc helpers the SDKs must equal are present: pkgs/id/examples/roc-world/Screen.roc, RocJson.roc, RocGrid.roc, RocCap.roc. The only ABI artifact is host-side (pkgs/id/examples/roc-world/host/src/roc_platform_abi.zig) — not a guest SDK.
Blocker: issue id: F12.8 guest SDKs — Rust + Zig/AssemblyScript, component-model decision #1065's own body says "Depends on F12.7", and its exit is "each SDK passes the F12.7 conformance suite". F12.7 is issue id: F12.7 ABI specification and conformance suite #1064 (ABI specification and conformance suite), still OPEN and itself only queued for triage — the conformance suite the SDKs must pass does not exist yet. The Phase 12 plan on main (.opencode/plans/phase-12-platform-flexibility.md) confirms the ordering F12.7 → F12.8 → F12.9 and names F12.7 as a first-slice item.
No component-model/WIT decision is recorded anywhere in pkgs/id yet — that evaluation is part of this issue's work, after the ABI spec exists.
Fix path (scoped, for when issue id: F12.7 ABI specification and conformance suite #1064 lands): effort/l — (1) Rust SDK for wasm32-unknown-unknown with screen/json/grid/cap helpers equal to the Roc libraries; (2) one of AssemblyScript or Zig (choice recorded with the component-model evaluation); (3) one playable example world per SDK; (4) record the Wasm component-model / WIT decision in the repo. Exit: each SDK passes the F12.7 conformance suite.
