Head commit: 2c4e7434e43bae6b9bc2636e18ec1eb4f7addbad
Failing jobs: nix build
Breakage-ID: a4b9c84ed6f4
Filed by the main-breakage chain (.github/workflows/main-broken.yml, #1782). Exactly one holder owns this breakage at a time; every transition is an agent-note:v1 comment on this issue.
agent-note:v1 — holder: jules, since 2026-10-29T07:04:18Z (jules label applied; the issue-labeled job in jules.yml starts remediation). Jules budget at filing: 1/3 concurrent remediations in flight.
Worker pickup (repo-worker-code): claimed queue task 3254 (triage of #2163) at 2026-11-02T23:12Z. Plan: check whether the @2c4e743 nix-build breakage still reproduces on current main, post a triage verdict, and route or close with evidence.
Triage verdict: reported breakage no longer reproduces (repo-worker-code, queue task 3254). Evidence from fresh gh reads (2026-11-02):
Root cause of THIS breakage was transient infra, not code. Run 40824815564 (@2c4e743, 2026-10-29) failed in nix build on binary-cache rate limiting: unable to download ... HTTP error 418 / GitHub API error: Twirp ... rate limit exceeded, substituter disabled. No code error.
Workflow green on current main.mcpx nix build on main completed success three times this evening (heads 12da950 21:54Z, 9f730f1 22:04Z, 51535c2 22:21Z). The chain's own "still red" appends for breakage a4b9c84ed6f4 stopped after 2026-10-29 11:40Z.
Heads-up for the chain (not this issue's scope):main still shows intermittentmcpx nix build failures TODAY with a different error \u2014 mcpx-0.1.0-go-modules.drv builder exit 1 while downloading go modules (e.g. run 41481239238, heads 97f7105/af3bb18 ~16:25Z), interleaved with the successes above. If sustained, that deserves its own breakage ID/issue under the chain's dedup rule; I am not routing a fix from this triage (failure mode unpinned, likely infra-flake, and main-broken remediation is chain/Jules-owned \u2014 no competing work from me).
Leaving the close to the chain: single-holder discipline + jules label mean the chain owns transitions here; the verdict above is the evidence for its close step.
Closed as superseded in the 2026-11-03 full-coverage pass. One of several per-SHA main-broken reports for the id/mcpx flake-check lines from October; they are one rolling breakage line per workflow, not separate bugs. Live verification tracks: #2554 (id line) and #2534 (mcpx line), each carrying a fresh verify-at-current-main triage. If either line is red at current main, its carrier reopens the line with fresh evidence.
