openclaw: inventory the existing sessions and what the agent already owns (comms design G5) #2302
From the OpenClaw comms design for #2023 (doc PR for task 3381), gap G5.
The OpenClaw agent on the laptop has 15 existing sessions and an active main session doing local work, but no repo records what those sessions own or what the agent is already responsible for. Every OpenClaw task (including #1029's channel setup) starts from folklore.
Work (read-only — no config changes):
Inventory the sessions: apparent responsibilities, recurring work, configured tools/plugins (memory-core is enabled per openclaw status).

state: triaged (coverage pass)
Coverage pass 2026-11-03: reviewed in the fleet-wide per-issue pass (drift / overlap / already-handled / stale / blockers / ordering). Verdict: still live; queued in repo-health-code-pilot as triage at priority 40 (priority/normal). If this is already handled at current main, the triage closes it with evidence; if it needs splitting, the triage files the split.

Next: verify whether the requested inventory exists on current main and whether the laptop OpenClaw session inventory is available read-only; then record the triage/fix path.
Read-only inventory evidence: local OpenClaw gateway is active. The main agent DB has 17 non-archived session-node records (14 done, 1 failed, 2 with unknown status; none explicitly running); labels are mostly probes/unnamed, so session responsibility cannot safely be inferred from titles alone. The persistent ACP list shows one idle OpenCode session. The safe config view has Slack and 22 plugin entries; it names memory-lancedb, while the enabled daily 03:00 Memory Dreaming Promotion cron is described as managed-by memory-core. Two enabled recurring jobs are present (that daily job and heartbeat-main every 30 minutes). Workspace FLEET/TOOLS/AGENTS/HEARTBEAT/QUOTAS docs describe the node as channels, monitoring, quick questions, and delegating coding to OpenCode. No transcripts, credential values, or config changes were used.
Lane code-j picked up task 8905 for issue #2302 (direct lane): building the dated read-only OpenClaw session/ownership inventory doc under doc/, to be linked from issue #2302 and commented on closed parent #2023.
Claim labels cleared and labels synced to the queued follow-up (queue/queued + status/needs-triage); no source or OpenClaw configuration changes were made.
Inventory published: PR #5206 merged (merge 6aeb038) — the dated read-only inventory now lives at doc/2026-11-03T23-32-00Z_inventory_openclaw_sessions_ownership.md, compiled by queue task 8905 from session/cron/ACP metadata and key-level config inspection only (no transcripts, no credential values, no config changes).
Headline findings: 17 non-archived session nodes with no running row, so active-main status is recorded as unknown rather than inferred; 1 persistent ACP session (acpx/opencode, idle); Slack is the only configured channel (enabled) despite CHANNELS.md still calling it pending; and the memory mismatch is documented — the Memory Dreaming Promotion job description references memory-core while plugins.slots.memory is memory-lancedb (reported, not changed; read-only scope). A link comment was also posted on closed parent #2023 without reopening it. Closing issue #2302 as delivered.
