fix(aggregator): charge-matching catalog omits the AI quota providers, so Anthropic/OpenAI charges always surface as unrecognized (PR #2149) #3119

Closed

Description

@dezren39

Finding

PR #2149 wires the charges auto-matcher with a service catalog built ONLY from extractSaasServices() — the infrastructure services. The AI providers the hub tracks (Anthropic, OpenAI, …) live in extractQuotaPools() instead, so their charges can never match: an ANTHROPIC transaction always surfaces as an "unrecognized SaaS/AI charge" attention flag even though the hub already tracks that provider. Codex flagged this P2 on the PR (comment 4409381644); it merged unchanged and is still on main.

Evidence

Why it matters

The attention strip's purpose is surfacing UNKNOWN charges. Flooding it with the fleet's best-known providers trains operators to ignore it — and every surfaced key is persisted, so the misclassification is sticky.

Acceptance criteria

  • The matching catalog includes the hub's AI quota providers and their aliases (from the quota-pools extraction) alongside the SaaS services.
  • A test shows an Anthropic/OpenAI candidate matching its provider instead of landing in unmatchedSaas.

    Correction to task 4573 result: CI was reported as pass in the queue result, but GitHub reported no checks on merge head de28eef; the earlier CodeRabbit check was neutral, not a passing CI run. The targeted local tests passed (18). The broader aggregator suite had 7 failures; navigation failures were also reproduced on the primary checkout, but not all failures were independently established as pre-existing.
