Description
Phase 2 of the first ID app set tracked by issue #2031. Spec: doc/2026-10-30T13-15-00Z_design_id_writer_set_view_projection/ on main (from issues #2030/#2238). Design record: the task 5727 triage comment on issue #2031.
Build:
- Writer-set object per the spec: explicit IDs, one-level group references, per-topic scoping, exclusion entries. Set changes are signed, versioned events, applying prospectively by default; history counts only with explicit include-history; rescind is a visible signed event.
- View projection over stored events: counted vs uncounted; every computed view names (set version, frontier) alongside its result. Counted status is computed from the set, never taken from claim-supplied data. Uncounted objects stay stored and retrievable (ingest stays validity-only,
pkgs/id/src/event_store/ingest.rs:60).
Out of scope: public/sentinel views (open question Q1 on issue #2031), abuse budgets (issue #2032), app/UI rendering.
Acceptance: tests show a third-party claim stored but uncounted; an added writer's history counts only with include-history; a rescind excludes from the stated point.

small_fix, but the governing spec (doc/2026-10-30T13-15-00Z_design_id_writer_set_view_projection/, on main at147432dd) routes the build in §9 into seven sequenced, independently reviewable slices, each filed as its own issue, and §1.7 confirms the workload is foundational: no writer-set type exists outside prose, there is no generic signer for a new object type, and no persisted author index. The packet's acceptance tests are §9 slice 4's tests, which depend on slices 1–3 (schema types → frontier-aware expansion →AuthorEventsindex) that do not exist yet. The spec is explicit: "Sequenced so no slice enables a counting path before the set object and its versioning exist."idset.writerschema types + canonical body encoding +chain::sign/decoderound-trip tests, library only, per spec §9 item 1 and §D1–D3) and enqueued as queue task 5834 (deduperepo-health:v1:fix:developing-today/code:issue:3854).195 remaining items
