state: reviewed (coverage loop-back)
Coverage pass 2026-11-03, loop-back review: this issue was re-reviewed (drift / overlap / already-handled / stale / blockers / ordering) so every open issue in the four repos is reviewed and in the system. Verdict: still live; in the system as task 7912 (triage, queued, priority 30) in repo-health-code-pilot. Labels audited and synced. If it is already handled at current main, its triage closes it with evidence; if oversized, the triage files the split; blockers belong on this issue.
Found via: coverage loop-back 2026-11-03
Verdict: duplicate artifact of #4917, no actionable request — closing
Revalidated at current main (4c75cc808) and against fresh GitHub state. This issue carries no specification and no work to do.
Evidence
Body is exactly the pm-dispatch tracking footer with a test prompt:
do the thing
---
Launched by pm-dispatch for developing-today/code. Queue task and OpenCode session ids follow in a comment below.
The promised follow-up comment ("Queue task … OpenCode session ids") never arrived — the only comment on this issue before today was the 2026-11-03 coverage note. That is the signature pm-stack/dispatch/src/server.ts produces when a launch dies after maybeCreateIssue (step 1) and before annotateLaunch (after step 3): issue created, no queue task, no session, no annotation. Failure paths return 502 without touching the issue.
"do the thing" is the literal prompt from pm-stack/dispatch/test/validate.test.ts and test/server.test.ts — i.e. a manual/test dispatch fired against the production repo, not a user request.
#4917fix(pm-dispatch): failed launches leave orphan tracking issues open (66 open, #3499–#4899) owns this class: compensation on launch failure, cleanup of the existing orphans, and a guard so the test prompt cannot file issues in developing-today/code. Its instruction to other triage lanes is explicit: close any further do the thing issue with a pointer here, do not open a second fix issue for this class.
So: no fix path is scoped here, and no separate task is filed. Closing as not planned with this pointer; the family fix and the bulk cleanup stay on #4917.
Not a blocker for anything — nothing depends on this issue.
Closed as a placeholder artifact; family fix and bulk orphan cleanup tracked on #4917. No branch, no PR, no follow-up queue task (a second fix issue for this class is explicitly disallowed by #4917). Labels cleared: work/assigned, queue/claimed, status/in-progress removed; nothing left in flight.
