Time to first deploy distribution #11

Open

Description

@devodii

Why

How fast a team goes from first commit to a deployed contract is a good measure of how prepared it was.

In this repo today

We store window_commits but not when the first commit happened. The commit density issue adds first_commit_at; do that one first, or include the column here.

What to build

  • Per project: minutes from the first commit in the window (or the window start if the repo predates it) to the first deploy by any account linked to the project (min(deployed_at) through the attribution view). Add the SQL to queries.py and an API route returning a histogram in 30 minute buckets plus the median.
  • A reusable Histogram component in apps/web/src/components/charts/ (buckets, counts, optional median line), built on the shadcn chart primitives.
  • Render it on the home page under the timeline chart.

Acceptance criteria

  • A fixture with three projects produces the expected buckets and median (test the bucketing function directly).

See CONTRIBUTING.md for conventions.
