Why

Adding an event should take a minute, not a copy and paste of another event's config.

In this repo today

A hackathon is one YAML in config/ (see hackmeridian-2026.yaml) validated by the Hackathon model in hackathon.py. The API serves the one chosen by hackathon_file in config.py.

What to build

• A new-hackathon subcommand in cli.py that prompts for slug, name, window start and end, and writes a YAML with sensible discovery queries derived from the slug and name.
• It validates the result against the Hackathon model and prints the next commands to run.
• All prompts can be replaced by flags so it runs non interactively.

Acceptance criteria

• Running it with flags writes a YAML that loads through get_hackathon.
