Space indentation makes doc comments get ignored #731

Closed

Description

@Francesco149

I'm trying to generate documentation for a c++ node extension.

If I indent the code (including the doc comments) with spaces, doc comments are ignored. Removing the spaces from the beginning of the line to /** or using tabs fixes the problem.

Is this intended behaviour? I presume not

    Indeed, that isn't intended behavior, I'll look into it. Thanks for the bug report!

    This is an upstream bug in get-comments tunnckoCore/get-comments#5

    Anyone want to pursue a fix in get-comments? Would be an interesting first bug to tackle if you want to work on parsers.

    get-comments fix hasn't happened, and my gameplan is to remove polyglot mode for now. I need to reduce complexity in order to get the core of documentation more stable, and from there I can do more to improve other parsing modes.
