"Projects" warning in status bar when file-based app .cs file is open in editor #9636

Open

Description

@DamianEdwards

When working in a workspace that contains both file-based apps and traditional projects, a "Projects:" status bar section is displayed with a count of projects in the workspace, e.g. "Projects: 4". If a file-based app .cs file is open in the editor though, this section becomes highlighted with a warning like so:

This is confusing as the file actually is opened in the context of a project, but it's the file-based app's virtual project.

I think this just shouldn't be highlighted as a warning at all, or perhaps the projects count should be updated to include all detected file-based apps in the workspace too.

    cc @RikkiGibson - this may require some investigation as the 'Projects' status bar comes from C#DK, but only C# knows it is a file based app.

    I would like to just jump into CDK and figure out what heuristics/checks we can adjust to make this stop.
