Not Able to connect to MCP servers

Describe the bug

I have installed copilot in Windows System using WInGet Command.
After Launching Copilot below error is showing:

Failed to connect to MCP server 'github-mcp-server'. Execute '/mcp show github-mcp-server' to inspect or check the
logs.

after executing the suggested command getting the below output:

MCP Server: github-mcp-server

Type: http
URL: https://api.business.githubcopilot.com/mcp/readonly
Status: ✗ Failed
Error: fetch failed

Tools: Server failed to connect

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.11.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. in CLI launch copilot
2. Error Message will be shown.
3. type /model
4. ✗ Error loading model list: Error: Failed to list model error will be shown

Expected behavior

@hstaudacher I have the same issue described above, and https://api.githubcopilot.com/mcp/readonly is not reachable for me. I get a 401 status with error message: "bad request: missing required Authorization header"

same here, it all started when I added the superpowers repo tu use the agentic skills and everything just broke down, if someone has a clue it'll be appreciated

I am having same issue while using github-copilot CLI in my desktop > "! Failed to connect to MCP server 'github-mcp-server'. Execute '/mcp show github-mcp-server' to inspect or check the logs."
I can not access the URL mentioned in the comments above. "Getting bad request : missing required Authorization header".
Someone help please.

Reproduced error with release v1.0.37 too.

update: dug into node js, my issue was with ipv6, NODE_OPTIONS="--dns-result-order=ipv4first" doesn't work somehow, disabled ipv6 system-wise by sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1

adjust timezone and sync current time with ntp, that's ok.
