Hi, we noticed that spec kit updates the agent instructions file (eg. copilot_instructions.md) during the execution of For a single developer / single thread approach this seems to be acceptable, but when developing a project with multiple developers and speckit in parallel this comes a burden, as merge conflicts may appear / developers and agents must remember to rollback this changes explicitly. We're wondering what the reasoning behind it is and - except of providing an preset overriding this explicitly - a way to circumvent this. Thanks in advance Peter |

Historical as earlier models needed more hand holding to make sure they stayed on track. We will be pushing this functionality into an extension and make it an opt-in |
