Input with Japanese IME is not working well

As you can see in the screenshot, input with Japanese IME is not working well.
The input suggestion should show just below of input-box.

same issue on the iTerm2 and on the terminal in the JetBrains' IDEs.

It seems that the input method editor and other text creation systems
are not handling the state of the system well.

The input method editor fires the compositionstart and compositionend events.
