--lines start:end is ignored, whole file is formatted #942

Using https://github.com/eclipse/eclipse.jdt.ls/blob/edd4b20e2bc3f062b0e1b25a7a1088f0b6a94142/org.eclipse.jdt.ls.core/src/org/eclipse/jdt/ls/core/internal/handlers/JDTLanguageServer.java#L1105 as an example, java -jar google-java-format-1.17.0-all-deps.jar -i --skip-sorting-imports --skip-removing-unused-imports --lines 1105:1105 org.eclipse.jdt.ls.core/src/org/eclipse/jdt/ls/core/internal/handlers/JDTLanguageServer.java formats the whole file, and not just line 1105.

Sorry, this was actually a usage issue. To achieve the goal of formatting just those lines, one has to skip everything:
--skip-javadoc-formatting--skip-reflowing-long-strings--skip-sorting-imports--skip-removing-unused-importsThis is more of a https://github.com/google/vim-codefmt issue.
