Sorting by distance will be on by default, but let's allow users to remove it for their own needs. This will also result in a performance gain.

    With #42 and the "sort during" happening, this will be a more complicated task requiring us to create a different storage mechanism if sorting isn't desired. I think this can happen after an initial release.
