The devtunnel CLI installer is incompatible with Azure Linux #554

Open

Description

I run Azure Linux 3 as my remote Linux dev environment and have found that the devtunnel setup instructions are incompatible with the RPM based Azure Linux because they attempt to use apt-get for package management.

sudo apt-get -qq update -y
sudo apt-get -qq install -y libsecret-1-0

The install script should be updated to check /etc/os-release then run the following instead if ID=azurelinux

sudo tdnf install -y libsecret

I can imagine Aspire support is going to drive a lot of improvement requests for better OS coverage 🙂

Any chance Fedora based distros can get support? I know it seems like a whack-a-mole, but it's not as bad as it once was. You can get fairly sufficient coverage with rpm and deb. Or of course flatpak if that works for CLI tools?
