Application modernization plugin for GitHub Copilot CLI and Claude Code. Assess, plan, and execute Java and .NET project modernization directly from your development environment.
To install the modernization plugin:
- Add the marketplace with
/plugin marketplace add microsoft/github-copilot-modernization - Install the plugin with
/plugin install modernization@github-copilot-modernization - Update the plugin with
/plugin update modernization@github-copilot-modernization

The recommended workflow is: Assess → Plan → Execute
This project welcomes contributions and suggestions. Most contributions require you to agree to a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) declaring that you have the right to, and actually do, grant us the rights to use your contribution. For details, visit Contributor License Agreements.
