UPDATE: This issue is just tracking the "base" support, i.e. the settings that set the language version defines, etc. -- only a small number of actual c++26 features have been implemented (the spec isn't even finalized).
Bob Brown (@bobbrow) This is not currently actionable -- EDG hasn't added any c++26 support beyond what we already currently handle with c++latest in msvc mode (which is primarily just c++23 features).
Sean McManus (@sean-mcmanus)
Is this issue tracking C++26 feature implementation or support in the language server to accept c++26 as a cppStandard or compiler arg?
Bob Brown (@bobbrow) Both -- the assumption is that we would add support for c++26 args and flags when it would actually provide a benefit to the user in regards to IntelliSense features, i.e. this issue was to track the updates for when we should add support for the args so users can benefit from the new features.
