    Bob Brown (@bobbrow) This doesn't repro with VS 2017 -- it seems either they fixed it or we're doing something wrong.

    We might be doing it wrong. The call checking whether the symbol is accessible in the context may only work as expected inside the method definition. I'll have to see what VS is doing in this case.

    Our next release will have a workaround via using Ctrl+Space to invoke completion at the same spot to "show more results" (#2386 )...but this case should still work on the 1st try.

    This repros sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Using version 1.2.0 of extension. I think it doesn't show during the first auto-complete, but after you try again, it will show all the results.

    Sometimes the rest of the class members will show after re-trying to do auto-completion.

    @HO-COOH

    Kind of related to #7120

    It seems have fixed. On my pc, vscode has the same behavior as vs. It doesn't appear in the auto triggered completion, but it will after you manually hit ctrl+space. I think this is the expected bahavior. But I would like to see a locker icon on private/protected method.

    On VS:
    vsPrivate

    On VSCode:
    vscodePrivate
