I'm usually maximizing the VScode window and when jumping to a marker displayed in the scrollbar, I used to slide my mouse (resp. touchpad) to the very right. After a recent update I noticed an ugly spacetaking and most importantly annoying frame padding akin to the one forced onto everybody in the Edge browser, SharePoint are other MS products (whoever thinks rounded borders and 3d cards are a thing clearly is too old to work in this field).
Please remove that shitty padding. Nobody wants it. It disturbs the flow. I now have to AIM for the scrollbar. Is anybody checking the ideas of your design department for usability? It just sucks.
PS: And where the heck is the Feedback function in VSCode? Want no more feedback? Fine, I'll switch to another non-corporate editor.
PPS: I just discovered the helpful setting ModernUI. Thanks for giving us a way to deactivate these spaced cards, I thought I'd have to downgrade. The rest of the refreshed style is fine, but this just disturbs work and takes away space for no apparent reason.
