NextCloud Windows Client 34 unreasonably slow - reinstalled 4.0.6

Bug description

I had an automatic update from 4.0.x to 34.0.1 on W11. Before the update everything went very well, smooth updates and syncs. Since then I have to wait for hours before anything happens.
Reinstalled 4.0.6 and everything was OK again. Deselected "check for updates". This version wil suffice for me until I have the time to switch back to something like Owncloud.
Please don't issue any new version if it doesn't function properly. Anyway, I didn't need a new version.

3. The share dialog does not display the option to share by e-mail

When clicking on the share dialog, share by e-mail should be an option.

I'm having the exact same issue on Windows 10, where a large folder/file structure is being fully synced. Version 33.0.x worked better here during a full sync, as did version 4.0.8 on another Windows 11 machine with VFS.
With version 34.0.x, it takes several hours for synchronization to start after a reboot, and every update after that also takes hours.

I believe I have the same issue with 34.0.1 on Windows 11. I am happy to open a new issue is this seems like something different. I upgraded from 33.0.7 which worked without issue.

It took a few minutes for the client to sync everything after the update and it appeared to work fine at first. However, when I started my computer the next day, the client got stuck synchronizing and I think that it is trying to re-index all the files. While it is stuck like this, all of the files which were previously indexed but not downloaded no longer have the cloud icon next to them in the file explorer, hence why I think it is re-indexing. If I try to open a word or excel files that was previous downloaded and still has the green checkmark icon, it will eventually open but it takes a minute or two and the word or excel program become unresponsive while trying to open the file. When I right click on the Nextcloud icon to open it, it does nothing and then finally opens after several minutes.

After about 10 minutes once it has finished indexing (or whatever it was doing that it got stuck on), the cloud icon re-appears next to the indexed files. I can open indexed files but they take about 10 seconds to download, whereas with the previous version they would download and open almost instantly. Even after downloading, word will become unresponsive after opening the file. If I end nextcloud and open the file again, it opens immediately without issue.

It slows my computer down significantly during this process and even after it appears to be finished indexing. Nextcloud does not seem to be using more resources than usual in when I look in task manager, however everything is slower and even taskmanager lags significantly when Nextcloud is running. Reverting back to 33.0.7 resolves all the described issues.

according to your comments, it looks like #10584 would solve the issue
it will soon be part of a stable release 34.0.2
can you test it again ?
